The holster is very well made and appears to be of quality leather. I like the fact that it can be adjusted for cant especially as I will be sitting down in a car most of the time I carry it.

I was extremely disappointed in the holster for a Springfield Armory 1911 EMP. I had previously purchased the same style holster for my Kimber Micro 9 and was very happy with how well it was designed to carry the gun cocked and locked. It fit like a glove. The new holster is designed to carry the 1911 with the hammer down, which is not desirable. If the gun is cocked and locked there is a gap between the strap and the gun that I can place my thumb. This is unsafe and I am getting the holster strap shortened by approx. 3/8" and a new snap installed. I will not purchase another holster of this style for my 1911 EMP.
