Glock Ges.m.b.H., trademarked as Glock is one of the most famous and successful firearm producer, well known all over the world.  Engineer Gaston Glock, company's founder who had no experience with firearms manufacture or design, became one of the most successful firearms designer of all times. The Glock 19 is a recoil operated semi-automatic pistol with a striker single-action (SA) trigger. The G 19, as well known for many shooters, was designed and produced by Austrian manufacturer Glock Ges.m.b.H. Glock pistols in general have become one of the most favourite guns, and have been supplied to national armed forces, police forces and security agencies in at least 48 countries. The Glock 19 was created as a compact reduced-size of the previous Glock 17 model. The G 19 was first produced in 1988, primarily for military and law enforcement. Although Glocks, including this particular model and its more recent versions - GEN 4 and GEN 5, became also very popular firearms among civilians for recreational and competition shooting, home- and self-defense, both in concealed or open carry.

This compact pistol has a 4.01 inch long barrel, which means it can be hidden if using a well-fitting Glock 19 holster, providing a good concealment option for you. The Glock 19 is equipped with a double stack 15-round magazine and it relies on the use of the 9 mm cartridge. As the G19 is a single action pistol, the trigger is the only operating element when speaking about manual safeties. All three internal pistol safeties are deactivated when the unique single-action trigger is pulled, and automatically activated when it is released.

When talking about the construction of this gun, the Glock 19 is fully made of polymer and it comes with integrated polymer grips assuring comfortable holding of the gun. Due to its dimensions it is ideal for use as a backup weapon or for concealed carry purposes. This particular pistol easily allows customization with different triggers, grips, and sights. What more the Glock 19 is compatible with factory magazines from the previous models 17 and 18. Giving the Glock 19 available capacities of: 17 rounds (standard magazine with +2 extension), 10, 17, and 19 (standard Glock 17 magazine with +2), 24 and 26 (standard magazine with +2 extension) and the 31 (standard Glock 18 magazine with +2 removed) and 33 rounds of the G18.

The Glock 19 is equipped with fixed, white dot front and  white square U rear sights. And also some newer rear sights can be adjusted for windage (on certain models due to the windage sights not coming as factory default), as it has a degree of lateral movement in the dovetail it is mounted in.
