Comfortable and secure. I bought this for my Ruger GP100 model l1771 with 4.2" barrel, 7-shot revolver. The brown leather is a stunning contrast against the stainless revolver. I selected the one without a retention strap for a very quick draw. A bit difficult to put on the belt even WITHOUT the revolver in the holster. That's because I use a 1.5" 5.11 Tactical Belt that's a bit thicker than this holster is designed for. Despite that, it stays on securely and comes off easily (two hands required) as long as you remove the revolver first. With the revolver in the holster it is nearly impossible to remove. And that's a good thing!
