About Steyr C9-A1
The Steyr Mannlicher is a firearms producer that is based in Sankt Ulrich bei Steyr in Austria. Based on a centuries of old tradition in producing firearms, the Austrian gunsmith Josef Werndl founded the company in 1864.
The Steyr C9-A1 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol, that is known for its low bore axis, which reduces felt recoil and improves control. The natural grip angle combined with the renowned trapezoidal sights allow for faster and more accurate target acquisition. The polymer frame is designed with the best grip ergonomics in mind, and all metal surfaces are coated with Steyr’s patented Mannox* finish. With a fully supported chamber, trigger safety, drop safety and lock out key, the A1 pistol line sets a standard for safety and reliability. The Steyr C9A1 is chambered in 9mm and has a barrel length of 3.6 Inches.
