The Story of Manurhin Holsters
Manurhin, officially known as Manufacture de Machines du Haut-Rhin is a French firearms company, that first started to produce Walthers in 1952 as a result of post II World War reparations. They produced Walther P38’s, P4’s and PP’s. In 1984, Manurhin started importing these Walthers into the United States. The difference between Manurhin produced Walthers and Walthers produced by other companies is, that the Manuhrin ones are marked Manurhin on the left front side assembly. No Interarms logo appears on the right side. The most famous design of this company is the MR73 revolver. It is their original design, but production has stopped and nowadays the original Manurhin company focuses in the manufacture of military munitions. The company is now a part of the French Chapuis Armes manufacturer and they use the original prduction machinery to produce their firearms.
