About CZ 97 B
The Czech armoury (CZ), probably one of the most successful European firearm producer based in the Czech republic, offers to its customers quality products and more than 75 years of experience in the production of various firearms. The company has sales agencies in more than 100 countries worldwide, however the most important is its presence in the USA. CZ-USA is located in Kansas City, Kansas and it’s the US-based subsidiary of the Czech Armoury.
CZ 97 B was introduced to the market in 1997 as semi automatic pistol that was designed by Koucky brothers. This model is .45 caliber. It’s a quite large pistol, but despite of it has a good features allowing to utilize CZ 97B also for concealed carry. The flagship of the CZ 97-B was obviously CZ 97. This type has a screw-in barrel bushing, loaded chamber indicator. Magazine of the pistol is double-stack holding 10 rounds. CZ 97 has thin aluminium grip. Sights of the CZ 97 BD are fixed. Grips are made of wood and the frame made of steel. Unveiled in 1997 (hence the model designation), the CZ 97 BD is a medium-capacity .45 with the features of the CZ 97 — and some more recent extras. CZ 97-B is all-steel pistol, so, at its 40 ounces, you are not going to find recoil to be a problem, even with +P ammo. The sights of CZ 97 have been updated and were redesigned with a several differences. In the current version, the front is a red fiber optic, however to combine that with the two white dots of the fixed rear and you have a three-dot red/white sight setup.
