The Taurus company was founded in 1982 as the Taurus Holdings, Inc. which is a Florida based holding company which, in turn, owns several companies responsible for some of the most robust firearms brands in the United States. The Taurus G2C is a semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Taurus. The G2C is a lightweight subcompact double-stack pistol, offering 12+1 capacity in a svelte and slight package years before the SIG P365 came on the market.
