About Taurus 425 - 4"
The Taurus company was founded in 1982 as the Taurus Holdings, Inc. which is a Florida based holding company which, in turn, owns several companies responsible for some of the most robust firearms brands in the United States. The Taurus produced it’s absolutely the first revolver in 1941. In 1970, Bangor Punta, that owned the Smith & Wesson, purchased a controlling interest in the Forjas Taurus company.
The Taurus 425 4'' belongs to the family of compact frame revolver series manufactured by Taurus. The Taurus 425 4'' is chambered in .41 Mag and has a DA/SA trigger mechanism. The cylinder of the revolver can hold 5 rounds. The frame is made of steel and the grips are made of rubber. The Taurus 425 4'' and the whole compact frame series is a fair choice for concealed carry that combines a good stopping force with a relatively small barrel length. The frame and rubber materials vary from model to model, but the basis is that the frame is steel or other metal and the grips are made of rubber either with finger grooves or not.

A perfect Taurus Model 425 Ankle holster holds your firearm without the need of a retention strap. The natural retention of each material takes care of it and you can even hold the scabbard upside down without the firearm falling of. Or you can rely on the retention strap which can have several levels of retention. Another treat of a great Taurus Model 425 Ankle gunholster are smooth edges on the outside. This way the holster stays protected from abrasions, scratches or any other intrusive surfaces that it may stumble upon. A perfect finish of a Taurus Model 425 holster is another feature. A finished holster keeps dust, moisture and water away. Taking care of your holster is a important thing and there are many options including break-in or adjustment.
