The holster body is made from Cordura nylon, a durable material suited for regular field and duty use. The full-barrel coverage helps protect the handgun, while the open muzzle design allows drainage and supports a clean draw path. A barrel-sight guide channels the handgun during insertion and withdrawal, helping protect the front sight from unnecessary contact.

Retention is handled through a combination of the Stop-Snap safety system and an adjustable plastic thumb-break strap. When the safety cap is in the upward position, the Stop-Snap system blocks the thumb-snap strap to help prevent unintentional release. Pressing the cap downward re-enables draw access.
