About Stoeger STR 9
The Stoeger company was founded in 1924 and currently is located in Accokeek, Maryland. Most of these firearms were high quality and came from known makers in Europe. Many firearms were marketed under the Stoeger brand.
Stoeger STR 9 Compact is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol. Many compare the Stoeger STR 9 to some Glock models in respect of its performance, however, at a much more affordable price. This pistol comes with an integrated rail, internal safety, reversible magazine release, three-dot sight system, enhanced ergonomics and many more. All of these features deliver consistent performance and shooting comfort. The Stoeger STR 9 also comes with a corrosion-resistant black nitride finish and interchangeable backstrap grips. The barrel of this pistol is 4.17’’ long and it utilizes the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridges. Its double stack magazine can take in from 10 to 15 rounds of ammo. Stoeger STR 9 also features a low-bore axis that helps fight muzzle rise, which enables for faster follow-up shots. The aggressive front and back slide serrations of this pistol provide a firm grip and the trigger houses an internal safety as well.
