About Springfield SA-35
The original institution was founded in 1777 by the direct order of George Washington in Springfield, Massachusetts. The purpose was to store revolutionary ammunition and gun carriages for a rising nation. The Armory began producing arms in 1794 and had been producing them until 1968 when the U.S. Government closed it.
The Springfield SA-35 is a recoil-operated, single-action, semi automatic pistol developed by the Springfield Armory, Inc. The Springfield SA-35 was first introduced to the civilian market in 2021, which makes it one of the latest additions to Springfield’s offer of semi autos. Construction-wise, the Springfield SA-35 is a clone of the popular Browning Hi-Power P35. The Springfield Armory SA-35 is a full sized handgun with an overall length of 7.8 inches and a 4.7 inches long barrel. The pistol comes with a double stack magazine that relies on the use of the popular 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge.
