The Smith & Wesson SD40 is a single-action, striker-fired, semi automatic pistol developed by Smith & Wesson. The Smith & Wesson SD40 model was first introduced in 2015 and it quickly became one of the most popular pistols by this manufacturer. Just like the name suggests, the pistol is chambered for the .40 S&W cartridge. The pistol’s double stack magazine holds 14 rounds of this ammo. The Smith & Wesson SD40 is a mid-sized handgun with a 4 inch long barrel. The pistol’s frame is made of polymer and so are its grips. The slide is equipped with a fixed 3-dot white sights system and it also features an accessory rail for easy attachment of tactical lights and lasers.
