About Ruger 9E
The company known all over the world as the Ruger, with the official name of The Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. is the leading producer of firearms in the whole United States. The Sturm, Ruger designs, produces and markets a full line of various models of pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns, mainly for sporting purposes, however there is also several models available for the law enforcement and military use.
The Ruger 9E model is a semi-automatic pistol, caliber 9 mm with typical Ruger features. Whereas this pistol had really a lot going for it, in a few cases were reported the pistol’s firing if dropped on the rear of its slide. Ruger recalled every single model, also retrofitted them with a new trigger construction and gave each customer a free magazine in the bargain. The improved design of this model which used a visible inner trigger blade, that blocks trigger movement unless fully depressed. The Ruger 9E is an entry-level version of the SR9E pistol. Actually, this model is structurally and mechanically it’s identical to the SR9E, including such useful standard features as the ambidextrous magazine releases, manual safeties, a magazine disconnect safety, reversible grip backstraps and an accessory rail molded into the frame for lasers and tactical lights. This model’s action is an improved striker type, so there is the classic locking and also unlocking of a tilting barrel design, however, the closing of its slide partially cocks the striker. Regarding the magazine there is also other important information which you should know and it’s the maximum magazine capacity which is 17 rounds.
