About Les Baer 25th Anniversary - 5"
Les Baer was founded in 1991 in Hillsdale, Illinois by Les Baer Sr. The company is famous for producing premium quality 1911 semi-autos. After Illinois started to implement restrictive gun laws the company moved to Iowa. Les Baer is one of two pistol manufacturers (the other being S&W) authorized to use and display Clint Smith’s Thunder Ranch logo and currently offers a line of pistols and rifles that use the name.
Made in limited quantities and with superb craftsmanship, this Les Baer 1911 is a celebration of 25 years of commitment to producing the highest quality, most reliable, and pinpoint accurate custom 1911 pistols in the world. This rare 1911 masterpiece features a black steel frame and slide with a luxurious charcoal blued finish with finely crafted hand engraving on both sides, as well as Les Baer's actual signature and “Legend 25th Anniversary” engraved on the slide using pure white gold. Exquisite grips fashioned from authentic ivory, dovetail front and adjustable rear sights. The length of this model is 8.7-in with 5-inch barrel finish off this 8-round, 45 Auto caliber work of firearm art.
