About Kimber Stainless - 3"
The Kimber Manufacturing is one of the most successful American firearm producer that is specializing in manufacturing, design and also distribution of various small arms such as the Solo pistols, M1911 pistols and rifles. The Kimber company has been producing firearms since the 1979, when this company was known as “Kimber of Oregon” and focused in accurate .22 rifles.
Kimber Stainless, offers, various finishes, 7 shot mag., forged steel frame, match grade barrel, bushing and trigger group, dovetail mounted sights, frame machined from steel forging, high ride beavertail grip safety. Slides and frames are mated in the early stages of production and travel through the balance together, ensuring optimum fitting of every part. These pistols are 6.8-in with 3-in barrel. All provide grip safety, manual thumb safety and single-action trigger.This recoil operated semi-automatic pistol is available in 3 different calibers. 9 mm and .40S&W with aluminum frame and fixed low profile sights and .45 Auto available in 2 variants either with fixed low profile sights or fixed tritium 3-dot night sights. Each has a lowered and flared ejection port with an extra bevel at the front to clear ejecting brass. The shortened machined 7075-T7 aluminum frame retains 7-round magazine capacity. The Ultra Carry slide has the longest cycle time of any small 1911 pistol, ensuring unequaled reliability. Bull barrel design keeps maximum weight forward, reducing muzzle lift and recoil. These pistols weigh just 25 ounces. Their short 3-inch barrels, compact grips and flat 1911 profiles make them easy to carry and conceal.
