About Kimber K6s - 2"
The Kimber Manufacturing is one of the most successful American firearm producer that is specializing in manufacturing, design and also distribution of various small arms such as the Solo pistols, M1911 pistols and rifles. The Kimber company has been producing firearms since the 1979, when this company was known as “Kimber of Oregon” and focused in accurate .22 rifles.
The K6S is Kimber's first revolver. All stainless small frame with the smallest cylinder capable of holding 6 rounds of .357 Magnum. Internal hammer and lightweight DAO trigger, stainless steel frame and rubber combat grip. Sights are dovetailed providing a path for future sight options for the gun. The length of this model is 6.62-in with 2-in barrel. The bullet mass capacity is 158 grains. The benefits of this model are the outstanding double action trigger pull, compact envelope, and six shot capacity. Smith & Wesson introduced this cartridge for its heavy-frame revolver. The .357 Magnum cartridge was rapidly accepted by hunters and law enforcement. At the time of its introduction, it was claimed to easily pierce the body panels of automobiles and crack engine blocks. Today factories offer over fifty different loadings in this caliber.
