About Kimber EVO SP
The Kimber Manufacturing is one of the most successful American firearm producer that is specializing in manufacturing, design and also distribution of various small arms such as the Solo pistols, M1911 pistols and rifles. The Kimber company has been producing firearms since the 1979, when this company was known as “Kimber of Oregon” and focused in accurate .22 rifles.
The Kimber EVO SP is a striker-fired, single-action, semi automatic pistol designed by Kimber Manufacturing, a popular American firearms maker. The KImber EVO SP was introduced back in 2019 and it’s one of the newest additions to the Kimber’s family of concealed carry handguns. What sets it apart from the rest of Kimber’s carry guns is the fact that the EVO SP model is actually a striker-fired pistol (hence the SP abbreviation), while the rest of their popular EDC handguns are all hammer-fired pistols.
The Kimber EVO SP is chambered for the popular 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. The pistol comes with a single-stack magazine which takes in 7 rounds of ammo. The Kimber EVO SP is a micro-compact pistol with an overall length of 6.1 inches and a 3.16 inches long barrel. The pistol features a reversible magazine release, cocked striker indicator, front and rear slide serrations and a Glock style trigger safety. The pistol also comes with an aluminum frame, custom red G10 grips as well as tritium night sights system.
