About Kahr PM40
Although the Kahr Arms does not belong among the largest firearm manufacturers on the international market, however it is a quite successful company, with plenty of satisfied customers. Most of the Kahr pistols lovers are from the US. This American small arms manufacturing company was founded by a Korean businessman Kook Jin "Justin" Moon, who is currently a CEO of the Kahr Arms.
Kahr PM40 is a recoil operated semi-automatic chambered in 40 S&W cal. Part of Kahr's Premium Series, the PM Series is a high quality thin profile subcompact, pocket carry handgun model with a polymer frame. Features include a polygonal rifled match grade barrel, DAO trigger, internal, passive striker block safety, 5-round magazine, textured polymer grip, stainless or blackened stainless slide and an option for night sights. Kahr pistols are striker-fired locked-breech designs, relying on a modification of the Browning dropping-barrel system with a lug above the chamber locking the barrel into the roof of the slide. This gun comes in two variants- tritium night sights or white bar-dot combat sights. The lenghts of this model is 5.47-in with 3-in barrel. The bullet mass capacity is 180 grains.
