About Grand Power P40 L

The GRAND POWER is European gun manufacturer located in Slovenská Ľupča, in Slovakia. A former weapon officer Jaroslav Kuracina established the firm in 2003. He got the interest and passions for guns due to an influence of his grandfather, who was a partisan during the WWII. Granddad was also a hunter and used to take his grandchild to a shooting range.

The Grand Power P40L is a blowback operated semi-auto pistol chambered in .40 cal. It has a DA/SA trigger and a frame mounted thumb safety. The gun can hold 14 rounds.The Grand Power P40 L has a rotating barrel recoil system similar to other firearms. The P-40L features interchangeable grips, picatinny rail and ambidextrous controls. The L in the Grand Power P-40L 5 Inch name stands for a larger barrel length and thus greater accuracy.
