The Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P 9 Shield EZ M2.0 Ported Barrel is a double/single-action, internally hammer-fired, semi automatic pistol developed by Smith & Wesson. This S&W pistol comes with a ported barrel, which is meant to reduce muzzle flip upon firing. The Performance Center M&P 9 Shield EZ M2.0 is based on the design of the pistol of the same name, only chambered for the .380 auto. This compact-sized handgun is a viable choice for everyday concealed carry. The pistol is approximately 7 inches long and its barrel measures 3.8 inches. Material-wise, the pistol’s frame is made of polymer and the slide is made of stainless steel. The Performance Center M&P 9 Shield EZ M2.0 is quite light, which is achieved by the lightening cuts in the slide, which significantly reduces the pistol’s weight.
