About CZ 85

The CZ 85 is a semi-automatic pistol developed by Česká zbrojovka (CZ) in the former Czechoslovakia. It is based on the iconic CZ 75 design but incorporates ambidextrous controls, including ambidextrous slide stops and safeties, making it suitable for left-handed shooters. Like the CZ 75, the CZ 85 is chambered in various calibers such as 9mm Luger, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP, offering shooters a wide range of options to suit their preferences. Known for its reliability, accuracy, and comfortable ergonomics, the CZ 85 is a popular choice among law enforcement, military, and civilian shooters alike.
