About Canik TP9 SFX
The Canik TP9 SFX is a double/single-action, striker-fired, semi automatic pistol developed by Century International Arms. The pistol belongs to a popular Canik branch of pistols, all of which are based on the design of the famous Walther P99. This pistol is produced in Canik, a region in Turkey after which the pistol got its name. The Canik TP9 SFX model has been in production ever since 2016. This model belongs among full-sized handguns as its overall length is 8.29 inches and the pistol’s barrel is 5.2 inches long. The Canik TP9 SFX comes with a double stack magazine that takes in up to 18 rounds of ammo. There are also extended magazines available, which can be loaded with 20 bullets. The canik TP9 SFX relies on the use of the 9mm Luger cartridge. Among some of the features of this handgun are the following: an optics ready skeletonized slide, front slide serrations, extended magazine catch and extended slide stop, accessory rail, 18-round or extended 20-round magazine. All of these features and the fact that the pistol is optics-ready make the Canik TP9 SFX a very solid tactical pistol. The pistol is most frequently used for competition shooting and it’s also a viable service handgun.
