The Arminius HW 5 is a K-frame double-action revolver with a revolving chamber. This model was introduced back in 1965 by Weihrauch & Weihrauch GmbH & Co. KG, a German weapon manufacturer. Just like other Arminius revolvers, the HW 5 is also a very durable, reliable and accurate handgun, although it’s slightly less powerful due to the short barrel and the cartridge it’s fed with. The Arminius HW 5’s frame comes with a blued finish steel and its grip is made of black plastic. When it comes to aiming, the accuracy is increased by the fixed blade and notch this revolver is equipped with. The Arminius HW 5 model comes with a 4’’ long barrel and it relies on the .22 LR (Long Rifle) cartridge. The chamber of this revolver is fed with 8 rounds of ammo. It’s definitely not the most powerful revolver, mainly due to the caliber it utilizes, but it’s a very good choice for those who can’t handle too much recoil. This revolver isn’t that difficult to conceal, but probably won’t serve best as a service gun or everyday carry option due to the restricted firepower. Still, it’s a very nice gun for range, especially for less experienced shooters.
